Experience: Kara Nally was born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts. She began singing and performing at seven. In high school she participated in the choir, talent shows and battle of the bands. Upon graduation from high school she continued to explore her love of music by singing on her own as well as with others. Kara would play locally on the South Shore of Massachusetts until taking on a new adventure by moving to Florida in 2005.
Although Kara attempted to express her creativity through various outlets outside of music she was unable to stifle her true passion. Kara credits her songstress influences to Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Grace Potter.
Kara has performed for The Sarasota Arts Conservatory, The Ringling College of Art + Design, Sarasota Yacht Club, Bradenton Yacht Club and The Florida Blue Blues Festival. She can also be found singing locally in Sarasota at the Blue Rooster, Ocean Blues, and Classico. When not on stage Kara enjoys donating her time to charity especially, Giving Cancer the Blues, Ladies Sing the Blues and Band Slam MSCS for Children.
